The wicked borrows and does not repay,
But the righteous shows mercy and gives.
Psalm 37:21
This verse reminds me that as a Child of God, I am called to show mercy, just as our God shows mercy to us, and to give. I've never been more proud of the women in our church as they have shown mercy and given and given to the women of Leah's House. This is surely fulfilling what James taught us when he told us to not dishonor others or show partiality but to demonstrate our faith by our works.
